About the Author

Dr. Stanley K. Ridgley is Clinical Full Professor of Strategic
Management and holds a Doctorate and Masters in International
Relations, Security, and the Soviet Union from Duke University
and an International MBA from Temple University’s Fox School of
Business. He has studied at Moscow State University and the Institut de Gestion Sociale in Paris.

University students, scholars, and businessmen in Izhevsk, Ufa, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Perm as well as in Cali and Bogota, Colombia; Guangzhou, China; Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai, India; Zaragoza, Spain; and across the United States have heard Dr. Ridgley’s dynamic lectures on Strategy, Competitive Advantage, Management, and Leadership.

Dr. Ridgley is a former Military Intelligence Officer and Russian language linguist. During the Cold War, he served five years near the Czech-German border and in West Berlin, where he received the George S. Patton Award for Leadership. Dr. Ridgley brings to bear the most powerful instructional techniques from one of America’s great business schools and combines them with the lessons of military leadership and strategic acumen learned on the front lines of the Cold War.
