The DEI Hustle Goes to Trial

Professor Zack DePiero’s Case against Penn State Moves Forward

The DEI hustle relies on fakery as much as any program of alchemy or astrology, and gives credence to so-called “composite stories” as “scholarship” when it’s actually just what it sounds like — made up.

Likewise, “counternarratives,” “autoethnographies,” outright “storytelling,” and “critical discourse analysis” are all versions of codified Confirmation Bias that many of these folks use as methods to prop up fakery masquerading as “scholarship.” This has resulted in a noxious bureaucracy of fake “experts” in a fake field that routinely abuses both students and faculty.

A former professor at Penn State, Zack DePiero, has been victimized by this primitive masquerade, and he filed a lawsuit against the school that is now going to trial. The grotesquely imperious and insulting attitude of many of the campus ancillary DEI staff at Penn State is exposed in the Zack DePiero case, as well as some of the clear violations of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

It was only a matter of time before this DEI edifice of “workshops” and “trainings” began to succumb to logic, reason, science, sanity, and, unfortunately, the intervention of the judiciary (because universities have evinced a declining circumspection where the civil rights of their students, staff, and faculty are concerned).

Conor Friedersdorf reviews the case in the Atlantic article below, which you can read HERE online.

More broadly, I detail the excesses of this DEI fraud on the campuses in BRUTAL MINDS, a fraud which is more widespread than many people realize and will be difficult to dismantle . . . although we are progressing steadily, as this Victory Map from The Chronicle of Higher Education attests.
