Higher Education pub helps us “track” the dizzying death spiral of DEI
A scourge of “Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” programs and personnel swept colleges and corporations in 2020 and 2021, driven by violence and extremism and enabled by the fear of university administrators and skittish corporate PR departments.
As a result, throughout the land the DEI movement entrenched expensive and useless bureaucracies that were manned by equally expensive and useless bureaucrats.
Additionally, the visiting “DEI consultant” urging folks to “do the work” became ubiquitous.
But this movement has already crested, and we’re seeing the building momentum of a rollback.
